Acceptance of terms

By submitting a quote request or placing an order with KOVR Campers, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

Product and installation liability

Installation responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for the proper installation and mounting of the KOVR XL1 onto their vehicle. KOVR Campers provides an installation video guide and, upon request, a written installation guide to assist with the process. By proceeding with installation, the customer confirms they have reviewed the available guides and accept full responsibility for the installation outcome.

Vehicle compatibility

KOVR Campers does not guarantee compatibility with every vehicle configuration. The customer is responsible for confirming their truck's bed dimensions and structural suitability before ordering. KOVR Campers is not responsible for any damage caused to the customer's vehicle during or after installation, including but not limited to scratches, dents, structural damage, or damage resulting from improper mounting.

Road safety

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the KOVR XL1 is properly secured before operating their vehicle. KOVR Campers is not liable for any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages (to persons, property, or third parties) that occur as a result of the product becoming unsecured, dislodged, or otherwise failing during vehicle operation.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall KOVR Campers, its owners, or its representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use, misuse, or installation of any KOVR Campers product. KOVR Campers' total liability in any matter related to a product shall not exceed the original purchase price paid by the customer.

Warranty

KOVR Campers provides a 1-year limited warranty on every KOVR XL1, covering manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.

What is covered

• Structural defects in the aluminum frame or wall panels
• Hardware failures (latches, hinges, gas struts) under normal use
• Weatherstripping or seal failure resulting in leaking under normal conditions
• Any defect that is clearly attributable to manufacturing quality

What is not covered

• Damage caused by improper installation
• Damage caused by accidents, collisions, or road incidents
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) resulting from use
• Damage caused by modification or alteration of the product
• Damage resulting from failure to maintain the product

Warranty process

To make a warranty claim, contact info@kovrcampers.com with photos and a description of the issue. KOVR Campers will work directly with the customer to resolve the issue, including repair, replacement of parts, or product replacement at KOVR Campers' discretion. This warranty is provided by KOVR Campers and is separate from any manufacturer warranty that may apply. KOVR Campers acts as the direct point of contact for all warranty matters.

Orders, payment and refunds

Payment

A deposit of 50% of the total order amount is required at the time of order, charged immediately. The remaining 50% balance is invoiced separately once your KOVR XL1 has passed quality control at the end of production, and is due upon receipt of that invoice, before your unit ships. The total amount includes your KOVR XL1 configuration and, where applicable, flat-rate DDP shipping to your selected region, with import duties included.

7-day confirmation and modification window

After placing your order, you have 7 calendar days to request a full refund of your deposit, or to modify your build configuration, at no cost. To cancel or modify your order within this window, contact us at info@kovrcampers.com with your order confirmation details. Our team will confirm receipt within 24 hours. Refunds issued during this period will be returned to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

If needed, we will contact you to confirm the exact dimensions of your camper based on the truck make, year, and model you provided. This will take place during the 7-day window.

After the 7-day confirmation and modification window

Once the 7-day confirmation and modification window closes, production begins on your KOVR XL1 and your deposit becomes non-refundable. KOVR Campers will send an email notification when production begins.

Order modifications after production starts

Once production has started, KOVR Campers cannot accept changes to your build configuration. If you need to update your shipping address before your camper ships, contact us immediately at info@kovrcampers.com. We will do our best to accommodate address changes before dispatch, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Shipping and import duties

KOVR Campers ships to Canada and the United States with delivery pricing shown during checkout, calculated by region. For locations outside Canada and the United States, delivery is arranged by quote: you configure your build, submit a request, and our team will provide a shipping quote and a secure invoice within 48 hours. Where DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms apply, applicable import duties and taxes are included in the quoted shipping cost; you will not be charged additional customs fees at delivery under those terms.

Pickup and installation at our Québec City location is available as an alternative to shipping, by appointment.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information. KOVR Campers is not responsible for delays caused by customs, incorrect delivery addresses, or circumstances beyond our control. Shipping timelines are estimates only.

Pricing

Prices are listed in US dollars (USD) as the reference price, with Canadian dollar (CAD) prices shown separately as approved, fixed figures. KOVR Campers reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price confirmed in your order confirmation is locked for your order, including both the deposit and the balance due at quality control.

Financing

KOVR Campers does not offer in-house financing. For customers interested in third-party financing options, contact us at info@kovrcampers.com and we will do our best to assist you in exploring available options.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved under Québec jurisdiction.
